Winning T-shirt logos announced
COLUMBIA ? In preparation for ROCK 2007, young people were asked to submit logo designs for the event?s commemorative T-shirt. The results are now in.
The winning design for the back of the T-shirt with this year?s theme, 'Get Off Your Island: Spread the Word,' is Caila Oches, a sixth-grader from Mt. Carmel UMC in Pasadena.
The front pocket design goes to Matt Tarbert, a 10th grader, from Emory UMC in Street.
This pair will have the satisfaction of seeing their designs on the backs and pockets of 3,000 T-shirts being worn at ROCK 2007 in Ocean City, Jan. 19-21.
