- The bishop preached on 'Godliness,' at Georgetown in Washington, D.C.
- Bishop Asbury preached on Colossians 1:28 at Light Street Church and on Colossians 1:9-12 at Sharp Street Church.

- The Baltimore Conference declined Bishop Coke?s offer to come and reside in the United States.

Methodist Protestant, March 7 and 14, 1906
- President Lewis of Western Maryland College thinks union of the Methodist Protestant, United Brethren and Congregational churches is impossible, but that a Federal Council of Churches could be developed.
- At St. Johns Methodist Protestant Church in Canton, they hope to redeem the ground and build a church.
- A United Gospel service at Alumni Hall at Western Maryland College attracted 700 people.

- The Revs. Alphonso Harrod and Frank Williams outlined ways to aid United Methodist churches in Sierra Leone and Liberia after a five-week visit there.
