COLUMBIA ? The Rev. Jacqulyn Thorpe, on the faculty of Howard Divinity School, wrote the companion Teen Bible Study for the Vacation Bible School program called 'Shouting in the Hush Arbor: Celebrating God in Community.' The Afro-centric, intergenerational curriculum is Bible-based, heritage-rich and provides a holistic, creative, religious educational resource for all ages, Thorpe said. The teen curriculum is available in the starter kit, which is available from Cokesbury. For more information, visit the Web site at www.africanamericanvbs.cokesbury.com.
