WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Rev. Lon Chestnut, president of the conference Stewardship Center and Foundation, left, offered appreciation at a church service on Feb. 20 to the Rev. Frank Trotter for his successfully steering the center's development for the past three years. Trotter was the first chairman of the committee that created the center by bringing together the United Methodist Foundation, the Conference Endowment Fund and the financial stewardship board, with a goal to build a unified approach to stewardship, managing investments and providing services to churches.
