In a day long celebration, the ninth annual Sleepy Creek Awakening featured games coordinated by the youth group of Brooklyn Heights UMC and a worship service that drew 50 people to camp Harmison in West Virginia. Above, Lea Adams of Soul?d Out performs at the revival.

Bishop John R. Schol preached on passages from Acts 4 and what it means to be 'the body of Christ.'

The church today must be discipled by Jesus, filled by the Holy Spirit, and daring, said the bishop who encouraged those present to become 'more than just admirers of Jesus.'

'We rely too much on our own talents, rather than what the Holy Spirit can do in and through us,' he said. 'God is saying to each of us, I dare you to be a disciple today.'
