Revival helps build Acts 2 church
CAPITOL HEIGHTS - Gethsemane UMC held nightly revival services Nov. 15-17 followed by a homecoming celebration for its 26th anniversary. The theme was 'Building Our Faith through the Discipleship Adventure.'
'We had a Holy Ghost party as we gave expression to our faith,' said the Rev. G. Sylvester Gaines Sr. 'The people showed up and God showed out,' Gaines said. 'Souls were saved, baptized and the Lord added to the church.'
