The Rev. Alicia J. Blake, 50, a former pastor in the Baltimore-Washington Conference, died March 14, in Buffalo, N.Y. A funeral service was held March 20 at Greater Campher Temple, King's Apostle Holy Church in Hagerstown.

Blake received her Masters of Divinity Degree from Howard University School of Divinity in Washington, D.C. She was a part-time local pastor at Davis Memorial and McKendree UMCs on the Cumberland Parish in 2004-2005, before moving to New York, where she pastored Lincoln Memorial UMC in Buffalo. She also served at John Wesley UMC in Front Royal, Va.

Blake had a great love for music, directed several choirs and sang in choirs since high school.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Thomas James "T.J." Blake of Buffalo, and a son, Durrell W. Blake of Amherst, N.Y. She is also survived by a

sister and brother.
