The Rev. E. Bruce Miller II, 72, died Nov. 16, 2010, in a nursing home in Williamsport. He had Parkinson’s disease. He was cremated and the family had a private service.

Miller was ordained an Elder in 1964 and served about 10 years. As a student pastor in 1961, he served Leonardtown Methodist Church, first as a local pastor, then as a probationary member. His next few years, he was on a leave of absence before he went on honorable location in 1977. Since that time, he worked in private industry for many years, and always retained his interest in the community and people, especially children. He volunteered at the Sheridan School in Washington, D.C.

Among his hobbies was collecting clowns and he had many. He also loved sailing and had a great sense of humor, his daughter said. Music was an important part of his life and he played the ukulele.

His marriage to Adeline Miller ended in divorce. He and Lillian C. Miller married in 1992.

He had Parkinson’s disease for nearly 20 years, and spent the last four of his life in an assisted living home.

Survivors include his wife, Lillian Miller of Martinsburg; a daughter and son from his first marriage, Kelly Aziz of Silver Spring and Timothy Miller of Pasadena; a step-daughter, Catherine McClintock from California; and two grandchildren. His mother, Frances Miller, 94, lives in Jackson, N.H.
