Elizabeth Ann Hickey Kuschel, 80, the wife of the late Rev. John W. Kuschel, died July 16, 2010. Her funeral was held July 21 in Greenwood, Del.

She and her husband-to-be met while he was associate minister at Calvary Methodist Church in Washington, D.C. in 1949. They married in 1950 and had three children.

She served with him throughout his 33 years of ministry in the Baltimore Annual Conference. His appointments included: Urbana, Oxon Hill, Trinity in Baltimore, St. John’s in Lutherville, Andrew Chapel in Baltimore, Kingsley in Cumberland, and Christ Church in Landover Hills, from which he retired in 1982. He died two months later.

Survivors include Anne Elizabeth McLaughlin, Mary Alice Grimes and William John Kuschel of Greenwood, Del.
