Obituaries - January 31, 2012 - Betty Fraim

Betty Fraim, the wife of Pastor Douglas Fraim, a retired Local Pastor who serves the Bolivar Charge, died just short of her 80th birthday at her daughter’s home in Frederick, Jan. 31, 2012. The Rev. T.R. Chattin officiated at a funeral service Feb. 4, at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home in Harpers Ferry, W. Va.

Betty Fraim was a member of Francis Asbury UMC in Rockville. She lived in Harper’s Ferry, W. Va., and was a member of the Harpers Ferry District Woman’s Club and Shenandoah Rebekah Lodge No 2 of Harpers Ferry.

Earlier in life she was the first woman manager of McIntire Hardware Stores in Chevy Chase and Potomac, Md..

She is survived by her husband of 59 years; four daughters: Deborah Ann Fraim of Gulfport, Fla,  Karen Fraim Goss of Boyds,; Sandra Jo Fraim of Inwood, W. Va., and Teresa Fraim Sell of Frederick; and eight grandchildren.
