NEW WINDSOR ? Strawbridge Shrine has a new curator. In June, Laura Apostol moved into the house that goes with the position.
?I firmly believe that if Methodists understand our heritage better, then perhaps that will add excitement to being a Methodist,? she said.
For the past year Apostol has been serving part-time at Brandenburg UMC in Woodbine. She is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary?s University in criminal justice and plans to attend Wesley Seminary this fall.
?I would like to see all the churches in our conference visit the Shrine at least once a year,? she said.
