FREDERICK ? The children in the elementary Sunday school class at Mt. Carmel UMC held a ?Come on let?s do something? bake, flower and handmade cards sale to benefit UMCOR tsunami relief. They held the sale following each church service and ?were amazed (that) when they counted the money they had raised $1,022,? said Donna Clawson, the church communicator. The members of the class, minus one, present the check to the pastor, the Rev. Jenny Smith. |
