Dimitry Isakovskyy, a student at Wesley Theological Seminary, and his wife Susanna Isakovskyy receive the keys to a car from Frank Pietrowicz.

JARRETTSVILLE ? By the time the choir from the Russian UMC (that meets at Foundry UMC in Washington) finished singing a concert in Russian and English at William Watters UMC, a seminary couple had received the promise of a much needed vehicle.

Dimitry and Susanna Isakovskyy from the Ukraine, and their two children, ages 3 and 4, live on campus at Wesley Theological Seminary where he is finishing his first year in the Master of Divinity program. A listener heard of their need for a car during the performance.

On June 26, Frank Pietrowicz handed over the keys of the 1996 Honda Accord he donated. The Pietrowicz family has five adopted Russian children, who originally came from only two different families.

The car 'is a wonderful support for the Isakovskyys,' said Barbara Donaldson in Wesley?s International Students? office. The Isakovskyys are working toward their U.S. citizenship.

'They?re a great addition to our community and I look forward to how God works in their lives,' Donaldson said.
