Rags to Riches

By placing a clothing recycling bin on their property, churches can earn $500 a year, reduce the amount of material in landfills, assist the people who are hired to sort the clothing and benefit the people overseas who receive the clothing, which is sold at affordable prices.

'This program combines fund raising and mission in a powerful way,' said Sandy Ferguson, director of justice ministries for the Baltimore-Washington Conference.

The program, From Rags to Riches, is sponsored by Mid-Atlantic Clothing Recycling. For more information, contact Robin Frazier at (410) 761-5605.
