Lots of love locks gathered
SMITHSBURG - Debbie Mooney, youth director of the UMYF of St. Paul?s UMC, agreed to get her long hair cut if girls in the youth group would do the same - for a purpose. She, Dominique DiLandro and Torre Montoya went together for comfort and support as they got their haircuts.
The hair was mailed to Locks of Love in Fort Worth, Fla., where it is used to make wigs for children who have lost their hair from cancer or other causes.
