New from the BWC - webmaster Lesley Carter talks with Timothy Farabaugh about his book "Lay Pastoral Care Giving." Several classes in the spring 2012 Discipleship Academy are studying this book. Farabaugh, an Elder in the Virginia Conference currently serving as Chief Operating Officer for the Vinson Hall Retirement Corporation in McLean, Va., discusses the experience of churches using lay pastoral care givers; the potential impact of lay pastoral care giving on a congregation; and the connecction of pastoral care with church vitality.
