Laity takes church outside
GLEN BURNIE - Hall UMC celebrated Laity Day Oct. 21, by taking worship to the community outdoors at the Freetown Village Recreation Center.
They began the morning with a continental breakfast, then the praise and worship music began, and the neighbors came flocking in, lawn chairs and children in hand. A communitywide cookout followed. 'It was truly a day of unity in the community,' said Pastor Pat Allen.
