| Gathered in fellowship, prayer 
The United Methodist Men of the Baltimore-Washington Conference met March 15 at Bel Air UMC for a prayer breakfast. Bishop Felton Edwin May spoke on the power of faith and led the approximately 100 men in prayer.  This was the first gathering of the United Methodist Men under the leadership of their new president, Curtis Brisbon, a member of Bradbury Heights UMC in Washington D.C. He was elected to office at the annual meeting in October of 2002.
This June the conference men will celebrate the fifth anniversary of their Prayer Line. The toll free number, staffed by volunteers, has provided more than 23,000 people with access to trained prayer advocates. The Prayer Line number is (800) 936-6893.
