Foundry UMC dedicates new ramp
WASHINGTON - When the funeral of Alan Reich, founder and president of Accessible Congregations Campaign, was held at Foundry UMC a year ago, 'tons of chair users came to the service and the access was pretty bad,' said ACC?s Ginny Thornburgh.
That is no longer the case. The church leaders decided that day to put in a proper ramp. The front entrance ramp was dedicated Nov. 19. Among the users was Nancy Blasdel, seen here 'test driving' the new ramp at the dedication.
