NEWBURG – Marvin Wamble, pastor at Shiloh Community in UMC, recently published "From Tee to Green, Seeing God in the Middle of the Fairway," a book that explores religion and golf.
Wamble has written about sports for such papers as The San Jose Mercury News and Dallas Times Herald. A life-long athlete, he’s played golf for more than a dozen years. The book, he said, is a mixture of anecdotes and spiritual insights from the links.
