Fabric art on display
COLUMBIA - The Rev. Jean Marsh, pastor of Chesaco UMC, is also a fabric artist. She is one of several artists, all members of Fiber Artists of Baltimore, showing their work at the Slayton House Gallery on the Wilde Lake Village Green in an exhibition called FABrications, Jan. 14-Feb.10. 'Using my hand-painted fabrics, thread, beads and other embellishments, I work intuitively, allowing the Creative Spirit to lead me in directions which both surprise and delight,' she said. 'My liturgical work incorporates this sense of the mystery through which, and from which, my inspiration comes.'
