Deaf Interpretation begins
BALTIMORE - In response to the discovery of a need in northeast Baltimore and Baltimore County, Hiss UMC began offering a worship service for the deaf and those with impaired hearing this summer. At 9:30 on Sundays, Diane Rehling, interprets the worship service and the Praise Team, signs the music. 'We truly feel this is a calling and we know that getting something like this off the ground takes time,' said Dianne Thompson on the church staff.
