Church expands to better serve
ARNOLD - Asbury-Arnold UMC has completed phase I of their multi-faceted expansion program, with the 'complete and paid in full' restoration of the historic sanctuary, said the Rev. James Talley.
Now phase II begins. In early April, the congregation broke ground for the expansion of the parking lots and site preparation for a new sanctuary. 'This phase will better accommodate the growing congregation as well as their pre-school ministry, which currently enrolls 180 children,' Talley said.
District Superintendent, the Rev. Chris Holmes, preached at the groundbreaking service.
