Christian preschool opens doors
Westminster UMC opened its new Christian Preschool Sept. 5. Known as Crossroads Christian Preschool, it has an initial enrollment of 51 and is certified by the Maryland State Department of Education.
The director is Suzanne House, a member of the congregation. The opening followed a thorough renovation of the church?s elementary rooms, including two bathrooms.
'We consider this to be an important step in mission as we serve the children and families of the community in Jesus? name,' said the Rev. Dave Highfield.
