BALTIMORE - A team of five people from Christ Church of the Deaf left on a mission trip for Zimbabwe May 24-June 13. To help them raise the funds to go, the Rev. Jason Hays challenged the congregation: If they would raise $1,000, he would dye his hair in rainbow colors. They did and he did. Then the Rev. Peggy Johnson, above, told her people that she?d dye her hair pink, (as she poses in this photo) if they raised another $1,000. She was sure they couldn?t do it, but they did.
