WASHINGTON, D.C. - This year, as last year, Wesley UMC held a candlelight vigil and program for World AIDS Day, Dec. 1, with the theme, 'The Honor of One is the Honor of All.'

The vigil and service of story telling, music and drama was a community gathering to remember the many men and women who have died from AIDS or who are living with the horrible disease, said Pam Siekman.

As part of the observance, the church hosted a section from the AIDS quilt.
