Cabinet offers hands-on help in Mississippi

Posted by Bwcarchives on

Bishop John R. Schol and members of his Cabinet repaired a roof, put up new drywall and retiled a floor at homes in Gautier, Miss., which were damaged by Hurricane Katrina.

Bishop Schol nails shingles and above, members of the Cabinet pause from their ministry with Jerry, the owner of a house under repair.

Working in temperatures that neared 100 degrees, the Cabinet of the Baltimore-Washington Conference joined in the long-term effort of rebuilding homes and churches effected by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005.
