    Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ:

    We were overwhelmed by your prayers, your presence, your acts of kindness and your gifts of love at the May 29th celebration of our forty-plus years in ministry, including eight rewarding years in the Baltimore-Washington Conference. We are grateful for everyone who joined in the heart-stirring reminiscences of our years past and the sharing of our hopes and dreams for the years to come.

    We deeply appreciate the sacrifices made by those who labored to plan and organize this event and by those who came from near and far to be with us. It was a grand celebration, and we are both honored and humbled by the generosity and love you have shown us on this occasion and throughout our time with you. As we continue our lifes journey in faithfulness to Gods call, our gratitude and thanksgiving to God will always include these vital and cherished memories and a constant prayer for you:

    May God continue to bless you in all that you do in Gods name.
