ROCKVILLE - At Faith UMC plans are underway for Camp Faith, a camping experience for school-aged children that will be conducted in both English and Mandarin Chinese. 'We have a vision to embrace the cultures of East and West in one place while nurturing our children with Christian love,' said Shirley Chow, the director. Chow, a Master of Divinity student, was principal of Rockville Chinese School for 11 years. The seven one-week, all-day camps, from June 27 through Aug. 12, 'will be a language and culture immersion camp where school aged children can enjoy daily activities from both worlds,' Chow said.
