Angel Tree heralds Christmas joy
ANNAPOLIS - Twenty-three children met Santa Claus early when Asbury-Broadneck UMC held a party for them Dec. 9. The Angel Tree ministry, chaired by Sylvia White and Jean Adams, provided Christmas gifts for these children whose parents are incarcerated.
The children and their guardians were invited to the church, where they sang Christmas carols and feasted on 'a magnificent dinner provided by 12 volunteer kitchen elves,' said the Rev. Stephen Tillett.
