The youth at the recent School of Christian Mission created a litany to inspire the church.

At the 2012 Cooperative School of Christian Mission a special session was held, for the first time, for the youth of the conference. At the school’s closing worship service, the youth, led by Michael A. Park of John Wesley UMC in Baltimore, share a litany they created, based on Psalm 151.

"Psalm 151"

God created me for something great.
God created me for something awesome.
God created me to make a change.
As I walk through the gates of Heaven, God says, "I love you!"
To make our lives a testimony to your power,
In Your eyes I am a conqueror!
As I walk through life, God keep me in your sight so that I can do right.
I love God, and God loves me!
Thank you for leading me in the right direction when needed.
Thank you for taking all the bad things away and filling me with good.
God is my life.
When you're lost in the darkness, God will guide you to light.
When God is in you and you're with God, all obstacles will move out of your way.
As I continue on this journey the Lord's hand will be there for me to hold onto, for He's always there.
Thank you for giving me strength even on my weakest days.
Through right and wrong, God is always there for me.
Even through my tests, trials, and tribulations, God has never forsaken me!
Amen!
