Rev. Maurice Moore
It is with profound sadness that I share the passing of Rev. Maurice Moore, the father of Bishop Cynthia Moore-Koikoi, and a retired clergy person of this conference.
Rev. Moore's faithful service spanned four decades as he served numerous congregations. With an itinerant servant's heart, Rev. Moore served congregations in Baltimore, Shepherdstown, Silver Spring, and Frederick. Rev. Moore retired in 2000. He leaves a deep legacy of committed service and faithful discipleship.
Please join me in praying for Bishop Cynthia Moore-Koikoi, a daughter of the BWC who now leads the Western Pennsylvania Conference, her husband Pastor Raphael Koikoi and their entire family during this time of mourning. We will share further details as they become known.

Rev. Moore was a friend friend, and mentor of mine. I will never forget his kindness and friendship.
He will be missed by all who new this giant of a person.
