Patricia Ann Mason, 84, the surviving spouse of the late Rev. Donald Mason, died May 22, 2017. A funeral service was held May 26 at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home in Grafton, W. Va. with the Rev. Junius Lewis officiating.

Patricia Ann Delaney was born Sept. 23, 1932, and graduated from Grafton High School with the Class of 1950. She graduated on the Dean's List from the Allegheny Community College in Cumberland.

She and Donald Mason married in 1951. They had five children. He died in 2012.

She supported him throughout his ministerial career, which began in 1964 in the Virginia Conference, and two years later he became a member of the then Baltimore Conference. He served at Bristol until 1969 when he was appointed to Central-Davis Memorial Charge in Cumberland. From 1973-79, he served Glenelg UMC, and then was appointed to Emanuel UMC in Catonsville until 1982 when he took a leave of absence. He retired in 1985.

Survivors are daughter Penny Lee Wayson and sons Donald Stephen “Skip” Mason and John David Mason all of Grafton, W. Va.; Rebecca Diane Feeney of Morgantown, W. Va.; and Laura Beth Higdon of Catonsville; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
