Meditations on the Eve of a National Election
From the 2016 Carroll County Election Devotional Guide:
At our September meeting, the Carroll County United Methodist Clergy shared our hopes for unity despite the frenzied environment surrounding our national election process. These meditations poignantly begin on World Communion Sunday as we gathered around our communion tables in our church buildings to celebrate our unity with Christians around the world. We hope that through the reading of God’s word, reflect upon the meditations provided and pray that we will seek unity with other citizens of our nation as we elect those who will serve in local, state and national positions.
