Congratulations to Rev. Constance Smith, on your retirement. I Praise God for you. You have been a vessel in my life.
It was a joy and privilege to get to know you when you served Grace UMC while I was a block away serving Washington square. You were true to the gospel and touched many souls and hearts in the West end of Hagerstown. Enjoy your retirement and if you get back to the area, please stop by for a cup of coffee or just to say hello. Miss your fellowship and friendship.
It is an honor to see the Women of God, Rev. Constance C. Smith minister in a different way as she near retirement. As you rest, I will continue to work in God's creation to ensure that Grace meets everyone, blessings! Love you!

Rev Patricia Johnson, Rev Margaret Clemons.
I thank you both for your time in Ministry, even though I was not directly under your leadership, but was at times, a recipient of your sermons and on rare occasions in your physical presence, absorbing your Godly essence, I just wanted to acknowledge you publicly for serving as an open window allowing your words of love, compassion, strength, wisdom, friendship and inclusiveness to flow into the world, reaching others, and transforming lives. May God richly bless each of you as you explore new vineyards in your retirement.
Congratulations on your retirement Pastor Doris Rothwell! Thank you for your dedicated service to God’s people. May your retirement be blessed with peace and unspeakable joy!

Rev. Link,
Congratulations on your retirement...again.
Congratulations to all the retirees! A special congratulations to my Pastor Rev. Dr Patricia D Johnson of The Fowlers -Mt Zion Parrish. This is a bittersweet moment because i don’t want you to go because you are a cornerstone in my life but I thank God that we had you for the years you served. It was under your pastoral leadership that I answered the Call that God had on my life - and for that I am forever grateful. You dedicated all 3 of my kids and then Baptized my kids as well. I thank you for every prayer, lesson, guidance, and prophetic words you poured into me for these past 10 years. I pray that I will become a drop of the woman of God that you are! Thank you for your service to us and I know God is pleased! So enjoy your rest love you to the moon and back twice. #ForeverMyPastor
Rev R David Hall, congratulation on your retirement. God has blessed us at McKendree Simms Brookland with your leadership for the past 12 years. You are a man of God who has shared a vision and your values with us. You have consistently demonstrated that loving one another is paramount and that everything we do should rest on love. We love and admire our First Lady Dayle; you two have a partnership in ministry and marriage. May God continue to richly bless you both.
Pastor Doris Jean Rothwell, Congratulation on your retirement. Thank you for your outstanding service to Mt. Zion UMC. I really appreciated you sharing your worship experiences. You always took the time to listen and support. God's blessing to you and Brother Felton Rothwell.
R. David Hall , Congratulations to you and Sister Dayle on your reaching retirement age, however, I know from the way you both serve God in each and every aspect of your life that this is not a retirement, but a plan to reach even more of God's people. My late husband and I joined Mckendree Simms Brookland under your leadership and we experienced the blessing of christian growth and fellowship there. You and your wife, Dayle, have shown by example how rich the experience of christian faith is.
Your tireless work , creativity , belief in prayer and service to our community is an example for all. You have always been present for your members during our joy and sadness. My family and I love and appreciate you both. May God continue to pour his abundant blessings on you and your family as you take on new challenges .
Rev. R David Hall, congratulations on your appointment to Brightwood Park and Albright Memorial UMCs. We are losing you from McKendree Simms Brookland UMC but are excited to know that God is still using you as you move to shepherd another flock. Asking God's continued blessings on you and First Lady Dayle in your new church home.
Pastor Coni, May God grant you peace my IFS. Congratulations on your retirement. However, Behold! God is not finished with you yet. Thank you for your service and your prayers. May God continue to bountifully bless you. God is pleased. Go ye therefore and continue making disciples.
Congratulations to Rev. Coni Smith on your retirement, You have been a vessel in my life, From camping at West River to Youth Rock and in between you poured the light of Christ into my life and showed me what it was to be in love with Christ. Thank you for everything you poured into me and enjoy your retirement. Love forever!
To my dear friends: Rev. Theresa Robinson, Rev. Patricia Johnson and Rev. Margaret Clemons, you are all great women of God! You are all my "Sheros" and have all touched my life in your own very unique way! Rev. Robinson, meeting you at my home church at St. Matthews, Shady Side, MD back in 2006 has been a true blessing and I cherish your friendship! Rev. Pat Johnson, meeting you at Wesley Seminary when you and my late husband, Rev. Johnnie Washington were completing your MDiv Degrees and later being blessed by your spirit-filled preaching at Franklin UMC and various churches in the Annapolis District will forever be in my heart! Rev. Margaret Clemons, we met online while working to get your youth registered for ROCK. You and your youth came to ROCK, sought me out and brought me a special gift; I thought that was so very thoughtful of you and the youth of Bowie UMC to go beyond the word "thanks" with a tangible "thanks"
I love you all and pray for restful and quite times with God! Enjoy your retirement!
Congratulations Rev. Ken Walker on your retirement! I value and treasure all the nuggets you taught me doing the Lay Speaking class many years ago. I truly give credit to your excellent training as I engage in my ministry endeavors as pastor, church planter and CEO in the Potomac River Baptist Association.
