‘1LOVE!’ event celebrates unity and diversity
More than 100 young adults from across the conference gathered for a night of worship, music and fellowship Saturday, Dec. 10, Human Rights Day. 1LOVE! was billed as “a place where diverse people of all backgrounds seek unity through celebrating our differences, our humanity and one love through song, poetry, dance, and food.” The evening culminated with a special performance by the praise band Ultimate Call.
The event, held at The Table Church in Columbia Heights, was a collaborative effort of the Baltimore-Washington Conference Young Adult Council,
