Join United Methodist leaders, laity, and clergy as we advocate for just policies and laws for our District of Columbia community. We will set up different visits with District Councilmember's offices so we can share our concerns for our community and support laws that will make the District a more equitable place. We'll start our day learning about our United Methodist call to public advocacy, and learning about legislation from advocates, then we'll share lunch before heading to the District Council to speak with our Council members.

10:15 AM - Opening Prayer and Remarks on the Legislation
11:00 AM - Breakout Groups to discuss legislation and tactics
11:45 AM - Lunch
12:30 PM - Walk/Ride to the Council Building
1:00 - 3:00 PM - Visit with Council Members offices"
