You are invited to usher in a new season of vital mission and ministry as we celebrate the creation of the new Baltimore-Washington and Peninsula-Delaware Area at a special worship service Oct. 13 at 4 p.m. at Severna Park UMC.

The episcopal area, created last summer by the Northeastern Jurisdiction, unites our two conferences and their 1,000 churches under the leadership of Bishop LaTrelle Easterling. Sharing resources, opportunities and a profound hope for the future, the Area will inspire and equip congregations to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. In our connection, we will save souls, transform lives and bring revived hope to communities. And it all begins Sunday with praise, promise and Communion.

Severna Park UMC is located at 731 Benfield Road in Severna Park, Maryland.  The event will be live-streamed at www.bwcumc.org and at www.pen-del.org.
