Embracing Personal Prayer

Dates and Times:  Tuesdays, November 5 – December 3, 2024, 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Location:  Class will be hybrid, held via Zoom and in-person at Carter’s UMC, 6715 Old Solomons Island Rd, Friendship, MD 20758

This course helps participants embrace the spiritual power of prayer.  Methods such as fasting, listening, using Scripture and hymns, journaling, and intercessory prayer will help participants grow in practical ways.

Class Assignments: Please purchase and read the text prior to class. To pass the class, participants must attend each session and complete all assignments in the requested timeframe as directed by the instructor.  

Class Certificates: Upon successful completion of the class, certificates will be sent via e-mail by the District Directors of Lay Servant Ministries.

Online Registration Only: $40. (Refunds will be issued only if the class is cancelled or a request is made at least one week prior to the start date.)
