Today is last day for registration
Today is the last day of registration for clergy and lay members who want to attend the Oct. 25-27 session of the Baltimore-Washington Conference. Everyone must register to participate in the session. Learn more and register.
Those who register are invited to examine some of the resolutions and other items coming before the Annual Conference session in the Conference Booklet.

The Rev. Sarah Schlieckert will be installed as superintendent of the Annapolis District at Severna Park UMC, 731 Benfield Road in Severna Park.

Discipleship News and Ideas
The Bishop's Bookshelf: After several requests, Bishop LaTrelle Easterling is sharing some of the books she's now reading. A list of a few of the titles are on the bishop's bookshelf, along with some suggestions from other conference leaders that will broaden your ideas about discipleship and enhance your faith journey, are now online.

WAVE
With the affiliation of the Baltimore-Washington Conference and the Peninsula-Delaware Conference, an opportunity arose to take the two youth events that were similar in purpose and combine them for a pilot year. Youth from both conferences met in July where they came up with a new name – WAVE.
Organizers note that the event is still youth-designed and youth-driven, still held at the Ocean City Convention Center, and still focused on connecting youth to Christ and one another in fun and powerful ways. This year’s event will take place Jan. 7-9, 2022.

This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the Resident Bishop of the Baltimore-Washington Conference and the Episcopal Office staff in Fulton and Washington, D.C. The Executive Administrative Assistant is responsible for collaborating with internal and external partners to schedule and offer meeting support and coordinating travel. The selection committee is seeking an experienced professional, proficient at formatting and writing documents, developing, and distributing meeting materials, facilitating travel arrangements, and creating and maintaining expense reports and budgets.
